The Operation

Quent will now go in on Thursday at 7.30am – being renally pre-pubescent, they have let him off being admitted on Wednesday.
He will be operated on at lunchtime and should go straight back to the ward (ie. Not to Intensive Care).
He will be sitting in a chair within 24 hours and toddler proof within about 48 hours.
Because he is so young and so fit (you can tell that his geriatric wife was getting tired of hearing this), he should be out in 5 days’ time, although the average is a week.
When he gets home, he should be able to climb stairs etc. After his recovery (approx 6 weeks), Father Christmas says he can go back to work.

Blog's a great idea, and glad to hear the positive news from the last few days.
I was particularly interested in one comment about Quent walking through London dressed as a clown. I, however, distinctly remember seeing a photo of him walking round London in a corset and suspenders, or something similar.
Let's have none of this hospital gown nonsense - get dressed up for Mr Christmas!

Hi Helen,
Spoke to Q earlier and had a good chat, as we all know, he is too young for all this and his lack of years will i'm sure enable a speedy recovery.
If he manages a week in Charing Cross then i'll be surprised. Their cooking is nothing like yours!
