Next scan

We've had a calm time, health-wise since my last post. Quent has returned to full health and we've had no crises, Addisonian or otherwise. The wasp killer of Rickmansworth lives well on his earnings from the Priory, but we're happy to call him in whenever we spy a stripy inhabitant.

Quent has been busy overseeing the building of our new garage and driveway, complete with car turntable. I have to admit it is pretty useful, although I'd still put it in the 'boys toys / gadget' category of life - and I still wonder how many wonderful holidays we could have had instead.

Here it is being lifted into place by Quent's patient friends and our very tolerant builders:

..and here's my car on the finished article (with one of the builders in the driving seat!)

Quent has a video somewhere, so I'll try to post that another time.

We are off to Manchester tomorrow for Quent's first scan since the operation. Please keep everything crossed for us and do your usual magic in the prayers & positive vibe department. I am a little anxious, because he seems more tired than usual (almost as tired as a normal person) and he's lost a bit of weight. But Quent's not worried and hopefully by tomorrow night, I won't be either.

Wow-great car!!! Have been thinking of you both. Lit so many candles in Cahors Cathedral that the fire brigade were called. Love Tim & Jenny H. H still stands for Haley and Hailstone. Compromise on combined surname of Haleystone still not reached.
