Operation Overkill
"Operation overkill" is nothing to do with inner city knife crime and everything to do with how we are feeling.
According to Mr Christmas, Quent has a tear in the muscle leading to the floating rib. He thinks this was almost certainly done during the recent lung operation.
What it needs is another operation (complete with General Anaesthetic) to tie the ribs back together. (Multi reef knots for the Scouts amongst you.) And then six weeks' recovery, with no sport, lifting etc. The date is fixed for Friday 3rd October.

It's beginning to look like you're developing a fetish for spending time in hospitals.
What a pain - having to back in and go through the whole recovery thing again. I'm sorry. I hope this time they leave everything else intact so you can enjoy an indefinite break from the world of hospitals.

H, think you need to oversee matters...fingers crossed that all sorted in the next op. Hope Oakley has had a good dtart to new school year. Take care. Jayne et al x
Oh billy bollocks. That's a pain but better sorted I guess. It's not a diy tool you have swallowed is it Q? Andy said he saw you hammering the pavement recently, so now you are extending your talents to the street? Anyway, we shouldn't rib you. And we must see you all soon. lots of love J xxx
Hi Helen, Quent & Oakley, Just caught up on the latest. So pleased that the lung op went well and hope the rib gets sorted out soon... Thinking of you, Uma & Boys x

Hi All,
was a bit surprised to see Quent taking Oakley (on scooter) to Ricky Park in the last couple of weeks - then heard where you are now living - looks like a great house - always wondered what sort of people lived there! Hope the Church bells aren't too disturbing. Hope the op went well, Alison, Steve, Rebecca & Tommy
Hope it's all gone well.
Lots of love and best wishes for a very speedy recovery.
