Red letter day
Quentin's full results have come through with "no new metastases are seen" and "no recurrent disease is seen".
And Oakley collected his hamster, Tiddles. As I tucked him (Oakley) into bed, he told me he'd been wanting a pet for 7 years.
Days don't come much better than that.

Just discovered this blog. Scary stuff. I'm glad to hear the results are good. My name is Tim Dunn and I am an old friend of Quent's (well more Vince if I'm honest). I could not resist a Quent story from a long time ago. Vince, Phil Tweedy and I turned up at Quent's flat in the middle of the night, bearing kebabs. Quent, having obviously been woken up, was wearing just his underwear. Unfazed he joined us in the living room to eat the kebab we had thoughtfully provided. After about 10 mins Quent declares "It's no use, I can't sit here dressed like this". He went upstairs and came back down, still in his underwear but now wearing a bowler hat.
Seems pretty risky to have bred from such stock!
Well done, and may there be many more like this...
