Prize for positive vibes
The top prize for positive vibes goes to David Newton, aged 13, based in York (my nephew). How can I put this? He literally bust a gut sending his .....
David, hope the operation to remove your appendix was successful. Quent and I are really sorry that your mum was down here at Quent's bedside rather than yours. What a day!
lots of love to David and best (gentle) wishes for a speedy return to the rugby field.
Helen
ps. Quent is doing really well. Even puts his oxygen mask back on if we nag him. He spoke to the Venture Scouts tonight and said he's feeling "euphoric". I hadn't realised one of those drips was pumping long words into him alongside the blood and other stuff.

This is very good news - giving us high expectation for speedly recovery. - Quentin leave the nurse alone they do not care about voip so don't bore them to death ..
How amazing Helen that you are going through all this and still manage to get online and keep everyone updated and entertained.
Delighted to hear the news - have been thinking of you all day. The size of the kidney sounds offal! Wish you a very speedy recovery, Quentin. Take care!
We've been following your progress, along with Ailie and Rob. I can't work in a Catholic school and not organise a few prayers for you! Even the hard boiled little eggs in Y10 are enquiring after you!
Love and best wishes from us all. XXXXXXX
Hi Q,
Good to hear you're feeling 'great'. Just had a meal with your friend George Porter - he send his regards and wishes you well.
Helen - the blog is a really great way for us all to keep up to speed without pestering you - I'm sure you can appreciate from teh comments back that we all appreciate being able to pick up the latest at 11:00 whilst suck out in a B&B on business. (actually Q's business!)
Helen, Just heard your news via Mandy and have followed Q's progress over last day. So glad his recovery is going well.
So bizarre that we haven't even met him yet but at least we did have a wonderful encounter with his very flirtatious son a couple of months ago! All our thoughts, prayers and Aussie good luck is spinning its way to you.
Wow! 1.4Kg in a day. Thats one hell of a way to lose weight. All at watch weighters are impressed. Respect man.
There seems to be thousands if not millions rooting for you out here Quent, and you know I'm not one to exagerate.
Thinking of you of you lots.
Radish says "Woof"

Hi Quentin (Oakley's Dad as you are known) and Helen(Oakley's Mum as you are known)
Sorry to hear the news but glad you've been under the knife and now on the mend. Enjoy the food!
Amelia, Jack and Ru all send their love and hope you get well soon.
Mum and dad sent their love and somewhere Mum has posted a message but I suspect IT and the dial up got the better of her.
Keep the blog going its a good idea.
Get well soon again

James, Allison, Amelia, Jack & Ruairidh

Dear Quent and Helen,
The entire crew of Vitesse are sending you every positive vibe we can conjure up. Delighted to hear that the operation went well and hope Quent can be persuaded to stay in bed long enough to make a speedy recovery.
The very best of luck.
Love and best wishes, Robin
Hi Helen and Quentin.
You don't know me, but Quent does. Good news indeed and best wishes for even more to come. I remain surprised that Quentin has not managed to escape yet - but I suspect it's only a matter of time now...
Greetings Guys
Many congratulations of the success of the op, Quent, take it easy (for once) and do as you are told by those that know what they are on about.
Apologies for taking so long to make contact, however, I've not been idle, I've been forwarding the "introductory e-mail to all the Explores / Ex - Explorers / Ventures that were, etc. So hopefully they got through and didn't get dumped in various spam boxes across the country.
Quentin, I know you are interested in the progress of Oakley's class mate, who swallowed a 50p piece on Monday. When we enquired they said tere was still no change.
All best wishes, you have been and remain in my thought.
Jamie.

Hello there Quentin and Helen. We are glad all is going well. Loads of love, Babs and Bruce.
p.s. Perhaps I have coped ok with the IT and dial up this time! x x
hi mate
just heard, its great to here you are up and about, wishing you a speedy recovery ,sending you positive vibes best wishes
Greetings Quent, Helen and Oakley. Heard you are all back under the one roof, which is great news. Now the hard part of just getting better, without letting anything energetic get in the way starts. Not an easy task for one so active as you Quentin, but look at it as yet another apsect of the challenge. The end will justify the means, I'm sure. The Bograts continue to ask after you, and there is always at least one person at a meeting who has read the blogg, and can updated everyone who may not have read it quite so recently. Get well soon, we miss you. Jamie.
