We've finished knitting

Quent's wound has finally closed up after nearly 6 weeks. The infection seems to have extended the healing process by about 4 weeks.

It isn't the neatest scar you've ever seen but it will get better as it continues to heal and it's great to be dressing free. Quent wears his shark bite with pride.

So Quent has kissed goodbye to the nurses (Yes, of course I mean literally!) at least for the moment. Their parting gift was to tell us the story of one less than hygienic patient who had maggots in her wound.

Enjoy your lunch.

Dear Quelen,
They say that adversity brings you closer together, so I here is your new combined name. Been following progress through rough days and good days. Today was a beautiful day and I hope your spirits are high today.
Love,
Robin and Gill

Dear Webbs

Keep up the good work, we are all agaze at your great strength.

ps while my parents were helping paint our house my mum mentioned a friend who had kidney cancer, he also had one removed - That was 16 years ago. However they live in Eastbourne which may be too much of a compromise.
Take care Andrew and Jill

Dear Wonderful Webbs

I have just caught up on the latest of your blogs, since I've been couped up ill for the last week. It's made me realize how starggeringly strong you are both being to be honest. Major respect. And very glad you're off to France for a few days, Bravo: 'Sidney sets Sail' or 'Sidney goes by Rail'. I'm sure you could launch a travel campaign on this theme H. Keep up the good work both and let me know if I need to do anything while you're away. Lots of love J xxx

hello

Was lovely to hear you sounding so perky on the phone last night and sounds like you have been busy organising a social gathering with mum already so we are really looking forward to seeing you on Sunday.

Drinks with the girls was lovely although I always seem to be the one wanting to get plastered while everyone else has a sensible 'glass or 2' then goes onto orange juice - not good but don't think I embarassed myself too much!

see you sun
love von ed rory and ewan.

Bon voyage! My brother is conclusive proof you can indeed travel without a passport, having flown back from Marbella this weekend slaughtered, with no shoes, no passport, a letter from the police and a plastic bag for his belongings.Presumably the authorities took one look at bro and thought, yep here's a loon whom we're quite happy to help out of our country...as quickly as possible...I'll try and keep him out of France for the duration. Enjoy, love hotcake xxx
