a short post
Quiet day today. Quent has just woken from a 4 hour afternoon nap. We were waiting in all day for the district nurse to apply a seaweed dressing. She never came, so now I am wondering whether I have got the wrong end of the stick and the seaweed dressing is meant for tonight's dinner. Who knows.
No news really. Just proving I can post something succinct!

Quent,
It was good to see you and the guys(sorry H) on Saturday, so big thanks from me and Sarah for taking the time out to visit, it was very much appreciated.
As I said on the day, we will try not to get in the way with all the offers of help and all the fussing about. But now that I'm not working(Yippee!!) I can help at any time of the day after all I'm less than 5 minutes away.
As you both know I'm crap at DIY, so don't ask, which is also why I never offered to change your tyre at the weekend, it would end up a disaster!!!
But I can help move stuff around, clear up the garden, etc etc etc please ask.
You will get sick of day time tele, so I'll be a change of face and it will give me the perfect excuse to go the High Road to the Bookies and the Pub!!!
I go to Oz next Monday 20th Nov but will be back early Dec, so let me know, finally send me your mobile number and Helen's, I promise I won't ring you at some god unearthly hour from Australia, drunk as a skunk after the first Test Match!!
Take it easy, rest up and see you soon.
Les
xx
Hello there,
Just catching up with the latest news. Seems like you've had quite a busy week! Helen, I have to tell you that you have a real way with words... especially when it comes to all those amazingly named doctors. Anyway, my continued love and best wishes to Quent. And of course, as I am only a few steps away from you in Chiswick, please don't hesitate to give me a bell if there's anything I can do to help. Alison x
