Holiday snaps
We thought we'd share with you some of the pics from our Manchester minibreaks:
Anyone for a snog? My wife's stopped kissing me.
My neck is peeling...
...in fact, all of me is peeling - even my eyelids
Not a good moment. Oxygen reservoir and ECG wires.
Much more fun. With my IL-2 friend, Philip and the Prof

The latter is better illustrated on a video clip. See http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SsWrJnYeYH0
Back home and things are continuing to heel nicely (groan!).
I hope that lot hasn't put you off your lunch. One of the Doctors is going to use some of the above in a presentation, so I thought I might as well share it with all of you as well.

Helen and Quent,
The photos were not bad, but the video clip, that was something else.
Medicine is such powerful stuff, we are praying that the results are just as amazing too.
We are taking some stragglers down to Poole today (boys, boats, kayaks, spares etc) so check your security and make sure that Quent isn't running off to the cirus camp too.
Love Catherine & Mark xx
I thought sailing a Laser in a force 6 was hard work. The video clip sure puts that into perspective!
Keep hanging in there,

As ever, looking like you are earning medals. Hope to visit, let me know when, wont bring the camera,

Hello my lovelies. That skin shedding is like a snake, euch. Mind you, it could be a break-through beauty treatment: what's the stuff underneath like? You've heard of an acid peel?
Glad you're getting lots of sleep. You may be catching up with people or resting this weekend but if you fancy a film or food this Sat eve, just say the word. See you soon.

Hi Quent, saw Jez today - told me the news - I dunno, always have to be the centre of attention (do you still eat Crane flies?) - anyway, hope your sore throat clears up and see you back at work soon, yeah? Good man.

Hi Helen and Quent, we love your smiles and attitude that come out in the postings, you should write a book about this to bring hope, love and care to others.
My name is jo and I am the wife of Chris Bly, Quent will know who he is, and I have met Quent once when the family (including mother in law invaded the office). We have been reading the Blog each day. I love your postings Helen. They make us laugh and cry, you are all doing so well and will have to have a big party when all this is past, we have complete confidence that this is just a blip in your life and soon you'll look back and laugh at the tough times. With love and care to you both and Oakly- Chris, Jo and Family
I was amazed and delighted to see all three of you down at camp on Friday. It must have been a huge boast to everyone and I am only sorry I wasn't able to stay with you and share any more of the moment. I heard that Q presented the Explorers to the Inspecting Officer and I'm sure they were a very proud set of kids.
Here's to many more camps in the future. All my love,
Ben
