Home sweet home

We're home! What a great feeling.

We said goodbye to everyone at Nathan House just after midday. They have given us the very best care possible - from the amazing medical treatment through to the kindness and company. What a great team. They have had a tough week with several IL-2 patients in (never their favourite) and the sad death of Tony Wilson on the ward, on Friday. But they remained professional, caring and cheerful throughout.

We'll be back mid October, which gives us two months to fill with rest and recuperation (ie. sleep and treats).

Thanks for all your support over the last three weeks.

And so, to bed.

So glad to hear you're back in the 'hood safe and sound. Quent, quite frankly you're a hero and both of you so deserve 2 months of R&R now. Dinner, film or both to follow as soon as you've had some good rest. Ju C xx

Still reading. Still thinking about you all. Still hoping and praying it will all work out.
Once you have recovered a bit, I hope you can have lots of fun with the R&R. Perhaps a really nice massage cream/oil for both of you?!
Much love

Wow, what a medical marathon! I've been catching up with what you've both been going through and it's more exciting than Harry Potter! Can't wait for the next episode which I hope will include films and cuddles, walks and sleep, fun with oakley and perhaps a weekend in Bath? Carry on doing that amazing, brave, positive thing you both do so well! Huge hugs from A, D & F

I just got back from France yesterday, which was amazing! There should be a postcard in the post for you all, but how long it will take to get to you I don't know!! France was really good, and I did light several candles for you in the churches. Give my love to everyone, my thoughts and prays are with you always,

Alice xxxx
