For the fainthearted.

Suddenly, everyone seems to be clambering for me to put pictures of Oakley on the blog. “Cuter than a thrushed tongue” seems to be the latest compliment to pay a toddler. So, for the squeamish amongst you, here is the ultimate U-certificate picture. It’s just a shame you can’t see how beautifully I have sewn on the name tags.

D-day is 20th September, so we are having a long weekend in Mallorca to ensure he arrives at his new school with a decent tan and a few holiday tales for the girls.

(Quent, by the way, is doing well. Swollen-elbowed and tired, but as cheeky, chirpy and gorgeous as ever.)

"The William Hogarth School" and an artist's pallette?

I'm guessing that would be the same William Hogarth as "The Rake's Progress"?

Is this kind of encouragement necessary or wise?

Glad you're all doing well.

I'd like to sincerely apologise for my x rated comments and pictures on the previous blog!!

I honestly thought showing "before and after" shots of my drunken night out in Amsterdam would be ok.

Needless to say I was very surprised when the police recognised Quent from the "tongue shot" please don't ask why I produced this picture to the law inforcement officer when he asked me for my passport!!

Quickly moving on to more serious matters, Quent maybe gorgeous and I agree he is but that boy of yours is ultra dishy according to my 4 year old, in fact Ellie now insists on joining you in Spain for the weekend to catch up on her tan, any room in your suitcase?

Lovely to have dinner at Hammersmith, keep buying the Tyrrells, by the way Quent, keep the fleece and I've also got you the T-shirt!!

Have a great time at the weekend,

Love always

Les, Sarah and Ellie (Ooops nearly forgot Tom as well)

I didn't know the little treasure was off to school. He was so gorgeous on Sat, so well mannered but fun too and just squidgibly adorable. We had a lovely time with him and I think it made Josh's birthday tea much more fun for Josh too. Thanks so much to you both for the over generous gifts.

The potential of your blog for publication (of course with Quent's permission) is now fully confirmed. Your self irony re the sewing on of name-tapes really amused me, and really annoyed Conor, as he finally realised that I will no longer answer him when I am reading your blog.....
