Interesting kidney cancer research

We always read articles about kidney cancer research with interest and this one caught my eye from the BBC - why some cancers are 'born to be bad'.

What particularly caught my eye was that "The studies also revealed that the earliest mutations that lead to kidney cancer were happening up to half a century before the cancer was detected."

This means that what we do in our teens and twenties (when we tend to be fairly cavalier about what we eat, how we exercise or whether we apply suncream) really matters.

Yet another article to show Oakley - but at least it'll make a change from the 'danger of too much screen time' series.
