Once again, Prof Hawkins has proved himself to be the Pickford of renal cancer, saving even the trickiest of strikes. Quent's scan was clear and we don't have to go back until June 2019.
We're off to Manchester today for another scan, one full year after the last one.
England is hot and sunny, our football team won on penalties. Four boys are safely rescued from the Thai caves. We're hoping to ride this wave of great news and put a clear scan in the back of the net.
Please wish us a good Trip(pier). We hope All(i) will be Well(beck) and that we get a Sterling result.
I am pretty "normal" and very lucky. I have a husband, Quentin (married 2002) and a son, Oakley (born 2004) both of whom I adore. We live in London. This was the first paragraph of a work-y blog I set up a while back. It still defines me although I would probably downgrade "very lucky" to "lucky with a spell of bad luck" at the moment. I am pretty new to blogging but want to find a way to update friends and family about Quent's illness. If you are not friends or family, I suggest you go and do something fun outside.
